Story of this Website:

In 2003 my family decided to pack up and move from our home next to Oklahoma State University . We were pretty sure we would arrive somewhere in the Ozark mountain region. I scoured the net for photos of the region and planned a long trip to scout a new place to live.

We decided on Harrison and haven't looked back. The Harrison region is unique for many reasons. The honesty and integrity of the people combined with a close knit community and lots of area cultural events appeals to almost anyone. The low crime rate, good schools and friendly neighbors is another reason we enjoy the area. Being able to go out in the summer time and jump in the river-that's fantastic.

As a beginning designer I created Harrisonark.com early in 2003. At first the site was commercial and I had hoped to get the Chamber of Commerce interested in further promoting Harrison via the web. I appealed to local realtors about the great interest the site was bringing in but to no avail.

Undaunted I continued the site in a non-commercial format as part of my portfolio. I believe that an online presence, especially one in pictures is vital for tourism and real-estate.

I design web sites nation wide for non-profit organizations. I specialize in project management, design, and web technology. I occasionally teach web design, and am Macromedia MX Certified.
